Let me show you the diversity of Southern California. The focus of this blog will be Orange County but I will include other areas of Southern California. So check back daily and you will see things from the beach to the snow and see why people love Southern California. I usually post a current shot in the evening, but sometimes I will post some older shots. (If you have any photo suggestions let me know by commenting on the most recent photo.)

Gee Rodney...it may be the biggest and newest, but it sure is (don't virtually hit me) one of the ugliest buildings. I can never understand when new architecture is built why somebody doesn't insist on it being aesthetically pleasing too. I suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Michael,
No virtual hit but you are right it is not the best looking building. Could be the photo I took also. I cropped it and maybe it was a bad crop? Anyway, I should show you another building on campus. It looks even worse.
hi Rodney,
Buildings, whether ugly or not, look a lot better with the sun on them. Deep blue sky!
It's interesting how the sun gets reflected by the windows onto the walls! Good shot!
the social science area is pretty old so the buildings are plain looking. there are parts at uci that has new structures that are more modern and very nicely set.
