More food!!

This is a shot of the Menu at Buca di Beppo. A family style Italian restaurant that has many locations around the U.S. They have pretty good food - I like the Margherita Pizza. They say the name means "Giuseppe's or Joe's Basement". Maybe Joe can confirm this translation for us?

There are so many of these in Orange County but I really like the design if this building.

Costume

This shot was taken during the Long Beach Marathon in Oct. 2005. This guy actually ran the entire marathon in this costume.

Wind Chimes

This non Orange County pic was taken at Seaport Village in San Diego(1hr away from Orange County). There are many little craft shops in this area of Downtown San Diego. It is a great place to have a nice relaxing lunch,

Bolsa Chica

This is the Bolsa Chica wetlands walkbridge in Huntington Beach. One of the last natural wetlands in Southern California. For more info on the wetlands visit http://www.bolsachica.org/.

Surf City

This shot was taken in Huntington Beach. The US Open of Surfing is held in Huntington Beach every year. Surfing is a culture here and in many other Southern California Beach Communities.

Breakfast

This photo was taken at the Ikea Costa Mesa store. They offer a 99 cent breakfast! I have never tried it but I thought this pic would be interesting.

Ice Cream

This photo was taken at the Los Angeles Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax. The Farmers Market offers an array of food from Ice Cream and desserts to New Orleans Cajun food. My favorite is the Brazilian Buffet. They have grilled meats and various Brazilian side dishes. Yum!!! Adjacent to the Farmers market are:

Getty Center

Sunset

This was taken at Ocean Ranch Club in Laguna Niguel overlooking Dana Point. Dana Point is a beach city just south of the more famous Laguna Beach.

Pacific Coast Highway

This is a picture of Anthony's Shoe repair sign on Pacific Coast Highway in Corona Del Mar. Corona Del Mar is a quaint little village that retains it's original beach charm. This section of PCH will take you back when living at the beach meant relaxing and surfing. You can still relax and surf if you live here but now you have to pay a high price for the lifestyle. $$$

El Toro Y

This is the 5 Freeway Southbound (3:15pm) just past the El Toro Y where two of the busiest Freeways (405s and 5s) in the OC merge into one. Traffic is a part of life here in So Cal you just learn to live with it or get a job closer to your house.

Long Beach Ferris Wheel

This is the Ferris Wheel at The Pike in Long Beach(Los Angeles County on the border with Orange County). The original Pike in Long Beach was an Amusment Park. The new Pike is part of the rejuvination of Downtown Long Beach. There are retaurants, movie theaters, shops and clubs all located within walking distance from the Ferris Wheel. The Aquarium of the Pacific is also nearby.

OC Marathon

This picture was taken on January 8th 2006. It is the staging area for the Orange County Marathon. It was my wife's birthday and her first marathon. She finished in just over 5hrs.

Southern Cali

This is a Southern California original. In and Out burgers!!! If you ever visit Southern California and like hamburgers this is a must. I hear some people buy them by the dozen then freeze them to enjoy at home.

Paris

I probably will not have and actual OC picture until monday. So, for starters here is a picture not related to the subject. I just came back from vacation and will post this picture as a test.
